How to Make a Paper Medallion Wreath

In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a paper medallion wreath customized with printable patterned paper & svg designs.

These paper rosettes with accordion folds are so easy to make with your Cricut, Silhouette or ScanNCut machine.

To create the paper medallions, cut a strip of cardstock and make score lines every half inch, using your machine or a scoring board.

Accordian fold the paper strips.

We used these 4th of July patterns to create our own printed patriotic paper.

Check out this blog post about how to print your own patterned paper:

Use double-sided tape to adhere two strips together to create one long strip.

Use double-sided tape to adhere the ends of the long strip together to create a loop.

Press the folds of the paper medallion so that they lay flat.

This can sometimes take a little practice, but it gets easier after you've made a few paper medallions.

Place a dollop of hot glue in the center of the medallion.

Cover with the cardstock circle and let the glue dry.

This side will be the back of your paper medallion.

After assembling your paper medallions, secure them to floral ring with hot glue.

Alternate the colors and layer the medallions on top of one another to cover the ring and fill in any gaps.

You can layer the cardstock circles & die cuts on the front using foam dimensional adhesive.

For our paper medallions, we used a sticker sheet and font from the Patriotic Bundle to print and cut die cut images and letters.
