Cutting the easel from thicker wood or MDF creates a sturdier stand to hold larger and heavier items like the 12" ceramic plate in the last few photos of this listing.

For a darker engraving, set your power slightly higher and your speed slightly lower to engrave more deeply. Do some tests to make sure you aren't cutting all the way through. Finish the piece with a clear varnish to make the engraving even darker.

The Flourish Easel Art Stand and Coffee Sign digital design comes in DXF, EPS, PDF, and SVG files to work with whatever equipment and software you have. The files are ready to use with all major laser cutters, including Glowforge.

Requirements:

• Files come in zip format. Typically files will open automatically or by double clicking on them. If not, you may need to get an unzipping program like Winzip or 7-Zip.

• You will need the appropriate software to open these files. This may include Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, LightBurn or the software that comes with your cutting machine.
