Vendors have the option to participate in the So Fontsy DAILY Freebie Program launching November 1, 2020.
Since we limit the number of weekly freebies each week, we are launching a new OPTIONAL program for daily freebies which will be in addition to the weekly freebies based on when you’re on the rotation schedule.
The idea is offering daily freebies will not only encourage more people to come to the website each day, it will also dramatically increase the number of reviews on featured freebie items - in a shorter amount of time.
Every customer who orders a product is automatically emailed and asked to complete a review of that product. Reviews have been found to help influence the buyers' behavior with products with more reviews helping with higher sales…specifically after the item is no longer free.
Our review program, allows search results to be sorted/filtered by products with the highest number of reviews which gives products with a high number of reviews an advantage!
Products with photos and videos are also being featured in a review carousel on the home page, which is also an advantage for products with reviews.
We have found the weekly free designs get the most reviews because they are downloaded the most so more review emails go out - in a short amount of time.
We will have 1 daily freebie slots a day that you can sign up for each month. The sign up form will be sent the previous month.
How to participate:
- View the Daily Freebie Schedule Form - sent out by email and posted in the So Fontsy Designers FB Group each month
- Select an open slot
- Enter the EXACT title of the product you wish to make free in the cell (be strategic with your pick to drive reviews and don’t forget seasonality based on when the freebie will run
We will take care of the rest. Please DO NOT change the price of product on the day it’s scheduled to be free. We will schedule the start and end of your sale for you.
If you choose to participate, your item will be available for free - no cost and no commission - for 24 hours on the date you select. Daily freebies will run 00:00 am est - 23:59pm est.
Once a product is listed in this sheet assume it’s scheduled as free for the given date, as we will be working ahead and will NOT be going back to check any changes.
Please DO NOT take any more than one slot per month to make it fair for other vendors.
If we have open slots available, and you wish to allow us to select any of your designs to fill these occasional spot please indicate this on the form in the Add on Section called "FLEXIBLE DAILY FREEBIE SELECTION"
If you choose to participate in the new optional daily freebie program this does NOT impact your required weekly freebie when you come up on the rotation.
