How to Pluralize a Last Name
In this tutorial, we will share the guidelines on how to pluralize a last name.

You pluralize last names the same way you would create a plural noun, by adding "s" to the end. Unless the name ends in s or z, where the plural is formed by adding -es.
The McCabe Family -----> The McCabes
The Smith Family ----> The Smiths
If the last name ends in an s, x, z, ch, or sh, add "es" to the end:
The Jones Family ----> The Joneses
The Felix Family ----> The Felixes
The Hernandez Family ----> The Hernandezes
The French Family ----> The Frenches
The English Family ----> The Englishes
Last names that end in "y," just add an "s" to the end. Do not change the ending to "ies."
The Daisy Family ----> The Daisys
You do not add an apostrophe ( ' ) to last names to pluralize them.
If you're unsure, you can keep the last name as it is and add the words "The" before, and the word "Family" after it.
