You will now have to pick a type of file. This choice actually can make a huge difference in your import. I used “simple” in this case as there is a high contrast between the image and the background. Click “continue” when done. On this screen, you first need to check the “cut file” option and make sure that everything you wanted erased has been. If not, go back and erase some more.
If so, you now have two options for saving your file. Either save as a print then cut or a cut file only. Here we are going to choose “save as a cut image” to cut this file from cardstock or vinyl. If you wanted to print the image, say for a notecard, you could choose print then cut here.
The image is now in your uploaded images area. You just need to click it here to add it to your canvas.
The file is now on your canvas and can be resized to fit your project then cut out of any material.
