Operia is an elegant, high contrast serif font with almost endless ligatures.

It includes 965 beautifully linked letters in uppercase, lowercase and capitalized – two, three and even four characters are gently connected together. It’s a unique and contemporary typeface that flows like water and sounds like soothing orchestral music.

Idea & concept

The main idea was derived from the round arches of aqueducts and other classic architecture. The proportions are roughly based on Didot, but you will not recognize it anymore.
