Perfect Cut Settings for Cricut Infusible Ink with Silhouette Cameo

Bundle promotions in this blog post have expired - find the design we used HERE

In this tutorial, we're sharing important tips for getting the perfect cut with Cricut Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets when using them with the Silhouette CAMEO.

The best designs to use with Cricut Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets are those that have smooth lines, with relatively little intricate details.

We are using this Hey Pumpkin svg design from the Pillow Quotes Bundle:

Open the Hey Pumpkin design in Silhouette Studio. Resize the design to fit your sublimation pillow cover

Don't forget to mirror the design before cutting!

Adhere the Cricut Infusible Ink Transfer sheet to your cutting mat securely.

Place with the clear cover sheet side down, and roll a brayer over it to make sure all of it is sticking to the mat.

Here are the cut settings for Cricut Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets with Silhouette CAMEO 4:

  • Blade: 5
  • Force: 28
  • Speed: 4
  • Passes: 1
  • Line Segment Overcut: On

Always do a test cut before starting!

Test weed after cutting!

Don't unload the mat right away after it's done cutting. Instead, grab a weeding tool and gently try weeding away excess material.

If it's easy to weed, unload the mat. If not, do another cut!

Weed the rest of the transfer.

Press the weeded transfer onto your sublimation pillow cover.

Place the Cricut Infusible transfer sheet face down, with the clear cover sheet side up.

Place a piece of parchment paper over it and press for 60 seconds at 400 degrees F.

Carefully remove the hot transfer.

Stuff the pillow cover with a pillow insert and enjoy!
