How to Sublimate on Pillow Covers

Learn how you can make your own springtime sublimation pillowcase with these simple steps.

First, arrange and print your design elements! We are using the Spring Collections Graphics SVG Bundle that is included in the Spring Crafting Font + SVG Bundle with 241 designs AND 36 fonts!

Heat up your heat press to 400 degrees while you place a sheet of paper in the center to prevent any ghosting to the back of the pillowcase.

Apply the transfer facing the pillow case. I like to use quilters basting spray to keep it in position and keep it from moving which can cause ghosting.

After you have it positioned where you want it and have your heat press heated up to 400 degrees F. place the pillow case with the design on it facing up and press for 100 seconds. I also like placing a plain piece of computer paper on top to help keep any leftover ink off my press.

Then it is time to take it off the press, remove all paper, stuff a pillow inside, and enjoy your hard work!

The great thing about this project is that you can be as creative as you want using different combinations of SVGs and Fonts for personalization!

Be sure to check out the Spring Crafting Font & SVG bundle for all the designs you’ll need, and get started on your own fun springtime pillow case today!

And don’t forget to share a picture of it with us on social media–we love seeing what you create. Happy crafting!
