How to Open Font Special Characters / Glyphs in Cricut Design Space with a MAC

Open a new project in Cricut Design Space.

Click Text.

Click on the font name drop down menu and choose your font. We are using the Dreamland Swirl Font, which includes those extra swirls and curls to add at the end of your text.

Find hundreds of dingbat fonts, fonts with special characters, fonts with ornaments and fonts with glyphs HERE

Type in your text. I have typed in the word family and would like to add swirls to the beginning and end of my word.

Open Font Book on your Mac and search for the Dreamland Swirl Font. Navigate to the character you'd like to insert into your text and highlight it by clicking on it.

Now press Command + C to copy the character.

Return to Cricut Design Space and place the cursor in the text box where you’d like to insert the special character.

Press Command + V to paste it.

Return to Font Book and repeat steps to add the characters you want to appear in your text.

Quick tip: If you need to adjust the spacing between your characters, you can ungroup your text and move them around!
