We are using these 2" wooden circles with our beads.

Paint the wood circles as desired. I used three different matte, pastel colors, and painted both sides.

Drill a small hole in the top and bottom of each wood circle.

Customize and personalize your wooden beaded tassel with adhesive vinyl and your cutting machine.

Select the desired design.

Size it to fit on the wooden circles in your project.

Cut it out in adhesive vinyl using your cutting machine. And weed out the excess vinyl.

Here we're using some adorable dog behinds

Use transfer tape to apply the vinyl design to the wooden circles. How cute!

To make your own tassel, wrap some twine around a piece of cardboard (cut to the size tassel you want).

Slide the twine off the cardboard.

Use another piece of twine to tie a knot close to one end (this creates a hoop at the top of the tassel for you to hang it).

Trim the other end.

Ta-da! A tassel!

Note: If you want the tassel to be longer, use a wider piece of cardboard. If you want the tassel thicker and fuller, wrap the twine around it many, many times.

Take a length of twine, fold it in half and tie knot to create a loop in the middle of the twine. This will be the loop to hang the beaded tassel when it's done.

String both ends of the twine through several wooden beads.

Thread one end of the twine through the top of one of the wooden circles.

Tie the ends of the twine together.

Thread the ends of the twine through the bead above it.

This can be more easily done if you twist some clear tape at the end of the twine.

Snip the ends close and the tails will hide inside the bead. And the first part is done!

Repeat these steps with another length of twine, except before tying a loop in the middle - you'll first thread the twine through the bottom of the first wood circle.

Repeat the above steps to add the second length of twine (and the second wooden circle).

Repeat these steps one more time to add another wooden circle ...

... and the tassel to the very end.

And here's your beaded wooden tassel home decor!
