How to Make Personalized Wine Glasses with Glitter

If you're looking for your next fun and sparkly craft project, then give these personalized glitter wine glasses at try. In this blog post, we'll show you how it's done!

Select a suitable font to create a stencil of your initial. We recommend a font like the one pictured below because it's not too intricate, but still fun and cute for our glitter wine glasses.

The font we're using is one you can grab from the Big Beverage Quotes SVG + Font Bundle. There are 169 designs and 7 fonts in the bundle!

Cut the initial into adhesive vinyl like Oracal 651. Use transfer tape to apply the stencil to a wine glass. Dollar Tree wine glasses are perfect for this project! And the bigger ones work best because they have a larger "flat" surface along the sides of the glass which makes it easier to apply the stencil.

Use a brush to apply Mod Podge to the stencil.

Then apply a generous amount of glitter.

Immediately remove the stencil and let dry completely - about 4 hours. Use a toothpick to clean up around the edges if necessary.

Then, use a small brush to apply a thick layer of Mod Podge over the glitter to seal it in. Then let dry completely - about 12 hours.

Aren't these personalized glitter wine glasses fun?

And now you're ready to personalize wine glasses for you and all your friends!
