The Cooper Jackson font includes the .WOFF, .OTF, and the .TTF formats.

The difference between these font formats is the amount of information they contain.

  • OTF means OpenType Font that is fully scalable. So any resizing will not affect its quality. It includes the advance typesetting features within the single font file so extra file is need for glyphs (aka special characters or dingbats), alternates, ligatures, etc.

  • TTF means TrueType Font and it's properties are similar to the OTF except glyphs are not included.

  • WOFF means Web Open Font Format. It's a compressed font file that loads fast online.

For design purposes, I always choose the .OTF format. It includes all of the special glyphs, characters, dingbats, swashes, etc that we love to use in our designs packaged into 1 font file.

Now we need to install them on your iPad. In order to do that, you will need a font installer app, such as iFont
