DIY Sublimation Phone Case | Mother's Day Gift Idea

Crafting gifts for your loved ones is a great way to show your thoughtfulness. This Mother's Day, make it extra special with something unique that you can create yourself — a DIY sublimation phone case! With just a few materials and some simple steps, you'll have an amazing gift that your mom or anyone else special in your life will love!

First you will want to choose a design. I got a good chuckle on the one I chose "Just Another Manic Mom Day'. This design can be found in the Mom Life Design Bundle. This bundle includes over 240 design for 90% off!

Then you will want to size your design to fit the project. I did this in Adobe Illustrator. First I released the compound path of the design. (Object>compound path>release)

Then I needed to ungroup it.

Then, I selected all the paths of each word and made a compound path. (object>compound path>make.

Once that is done I changed the colors of each word until I was happy with what it looked like.

Next I exported it as a PDF and printed it, make sure it is mirrored.

I prepared my blank by removing the plastic protective film.

Then, I taped the printed paper down and placed it in my press for 60 seconds at 400 degrees.

Not only is this a beautiful gift that will last, but it's also something your loved one can show off with every time they use their phone!

So what are you waiting grab the Mom Life Design Bundle and get to making your mom (or yourself) something special
